Before & After
Summary
Chris and John Grimes, an agent team from Corcoran Reverie, were excited to work with their client who was pursuing a new business venture in the Dominican Republic. The brothers knew that transforming their client's Nashville property would be what it took to help him net the most money from his home and set him up for success on his big move to the DR. Working with Revive Property Advisor Amanda Steele, the Grimes brothers developed a renovation plan to up the home's appeal and value. With a budget of $228,093, fronted interest-free by Revive, they updated the flooring, freshened up the interior and exterior paint, and installed a new HVAC system, while fixing up the garage. The bathrooms and kitchen were renovated, complete with new appliances and enhanced lighting, which helped created a modern and inviting space. The attic drywall and plaster wall refinishing added a polished touch, while the softscaping enhanced the property's curb appeal.
The renovations paid off, with the home selling for $1,107,500 – $257,500 over the original as-is value, generating a net profit of $29,407 for the seller. The Grimes brothers' foresight not only helped their client start his next chapter on the right foot, but also increased their commission by 30%. With this, the Grimes brothers were able to close out another successful project, with a happy and satisfied client.
